Former Millwall striker Morison, whose last Football League job ended with him leaving Championship Cardiff in September 2022, announced his departure to Urchins fans in the clubhouse following his last match in charge of the club.
The 40-year-old ex-Welsh international replaces Matt Gray, who was sacked on December 19.
